Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online): Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is in Lahore for one day, said in a meeting with Punjab Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar that the people need to be given maximum relief.

 

Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Lahore on a one-day visit, called on the Prime Minister and briefed him on the law and order situation in the province. On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that maximum relief should be given to the people, efforts should be made to reduce inflation, crackdown against profiteers and hoarders would continue without any discrimination, development in Punjab would continue. The Prime Minister said that the best quality of all public welfare schemes would be ensured, the law was equal for all and the government was taking all possible steps to uphold the rule of law.

Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online): PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif has appealed to the people to participate in the protest against inflation.

 

According to private TV Dunya News, the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly said that the people should fully participate in the protests against the destruction of the economy, inflation and unemployment and send a message of no confidence in the government. There is more unemployment, destruction and inflation.

 

Shahbaz Sharif, while issuing instructions for his party, appealed to party leaders, citizens and business organizations at the central, provincial and district levels to participate in the protests.

QUETTA: Members of the Baluchistan Awami Party (BAP) and the opposition have written a letter to the Chief Justice of the Baluchistan High Court (BHC) over the disappearance of members of the Quetta Assembly.

 

According to private TV Dunya News, the letter written to the Chief Justice of Baluchistan High Court has the signatures of 8 members of the Assembly. The letter raised the issue of recovery of four missing members. The letter said that the missing members have been detained by the Baluchistan Chief Minister.

 

According to private TV, the letter said that steps should be taken for the recovery of the missing members while a case should be registered against those involved in the crime.

 

Letters from Baluchistan Awami Party and Opposition were also sent to Governor Baluchistan, Chief Secretary and IG.

 

It is to be noted that a no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister of Baluchistan has been tabled in the Assembly which was supported by 33 members. 34 members of the Baluchistan Assembly have taken refuge in the house of the Speaker Provincial Assembly.
